These exceptional works, written and produced by Chuck Bynum circa 1980, were taken from a collection of cuts originally slated for a full length LP release by the artist- unfortunately that plan was cut short. In fact soon after scoring his record deal, a young Chuck Bynum ended up behind bars and faced a lifetime sentence for related drug charges. Amazingly decades later the lost musician has now reemerged, along with some of his masterful recordings. The title track “It’s You” is a heartfelt soul motivator that celebrates perseverance through voice and sound. Likewise, the complimentary b-side cut “In & Out (Of My Life)” evokes a sense of nostalgia guided by a sincere modern groove.

Nice Choice Records is proud to release this project in partnership with Mr. Chuck Bynum, as it is truly a testament to his life's work. This limited 45 pressing has been fully remastered and is being offered with extended versions, for both listening and dancing pleasure. We hope this music brings much joy and celebration to you, as it did for us.
